I've got an 82' Z28 with crossfire, you might want to check the sensor that is located on the left hand front of the intake manifold, just to the bottom left of the thermostat housing. It has (2) wires attached to it, one black, one yellow. I'm not for sure what it's called, but it. Just bought a 84 Corvette for $2,000. The body is in great shape, but I have a small problem with the engine fowling out plugs and it seams to be overloading on fuel. I am completely ignorant to this car and engine.   2. This Corvette is the first of the C4s so it has the crossfire injection fuel system. Also known as cease fire injection. I agree 10K is too much for this car while not running and I think the seller would have a hard time getting that even if it did run

  5. Put a new intake manifold gasket on the crossfire. Lit the engine off and it still ran a little fast about 10K that was down from 12K. Used some carburetor cleaner to check for leaks. Heard a puff sound when I sprayed the manifold around the distributor and next thing I know I can see part of my new intake manifold gasket. I know that is not good
